Diesel plays its part into branding activations with a cause with a collaboration with Coca Cola, through a collection of sustainable clothing just launched with the Atlanta giant.
(Re) Collection is the name that both players have selected for this twelve pieces sportswear range, which is a true upcycling act, a result of Diesel and Coca Cola in the exploration of new method of creating fabrics. In fact, all items contain an average of 38% of recycled PET fibres from plastic bottles which reached their final stage in the recycling process and could not be recycled into new bottles. The remaining parts of the garments have been then manufactured with recycled cotton fibres.
The collection was officially presented in the Parisian department store Galeries Lafayette and is be on sale worldwide from today.
“As a leading pioneer in denim and casual fashion, DIESEL has always been known in the industry as an innovator” declares Diesel founder Renzo Rosso. “The (Re) Collection is a collaboration between two authentic and iconic brands that are both committed to a more responsible business.”
