Colnago, the Italian leading manufacturer of racing bicycles, has signed a triple collaboration with Adidas Originals and size?.
The Italian brand, known for its high quality bicycles, chosen by legends such as Eddy Merckx, joins the sportswear giant, and the international retailer to create a limited edition that will win over the cycling lovers.
Available from next December 29 on size? stores and e-shop, the Adidas Originals x size? x Colnago collection will include a 105 pieces limited edition Master frame, a Kamanda and a Trimm Star.
The Italian brand born near Milan, and the Bavarian sportswear giant, brought together by their common origins and their relentless pursuit of innovation, decided to collaborate to create an interesting project that highlights both the heritage and the future direction of the two brands.
Details really make the difference in this collaboration. True to Colnago founder’s personal mission to create “only beautiful things”, both sneakers are in fact finished in fine Italian leather. Moreover, the Trimm Star sole is made of recycled rubber taking up the ideal tires for a classic 70s racing bikes. The metallic finish on the heel and on the three side stripes – Adidas’ most iconic element – is instead inspired by the red lines of Giuseppe Saronni’s Colnago Master.
The Kamanda’s transparent sole instead, reproduce the carbon fiber effect that characterizes modern Colnago’s bikes.
On the Master frame, with cold-drawn stellar steel tubes and the unmistakable Colnago’s fork, the logos of the three brands are perfectly combined for an exclusive effect.
