After the collabs with Bershka and H&M, Bille Eilish’s style comes back to fast fashion with a quite interesting crossover with Uniqlo.
For an exclusive activation at the global fashion retailer, the pop star has teamed up with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami with a range of fashion products that puts together the sensibilities of the contemporary artist and the musician, each prolific at the highest level.
Billie x Murakami x UNIQLO is a range of t-shirts featuring 18 designs for women, men and kids. A blend of the two artists’ unique motifs, the t shirts feature Billie’s neon aesthatics and Murakami’s pop flowers.
This partnership comes from a first Instagram messaging between the two artist, which led to Murakami production of the pop star’s music video for You Should See Me In A Crown. Billie Eilish also worked together with Murakami’s studio in Tokyo on the Garage magazine cover of issue in January.
The collection launches on May 25 on UNIQLO.com and in physical stores from May 29 where reopening is allowed. Being a limited edition, clients are required to buy 2 items maximum for the same design.
