Aestethics of 90’s gaming in Pull & Bear x Mortal Kombat

Gaming and videogames characters are among the most pursued properties in the licensed collaboration sceme, as every subscriber of our Halo Licensing Survey is well aware.

Pull & Bear, part of the Inditex Group, is doubling down on those and just launched a collaboration inspired by the 90s videogames aesthetics of Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Kombat is a fighting video game series created in 1992 by Ed Boon and John Tobias; a cult phenomenon that, almost 30 years after its first release, continues to mark a global impact. Is not by chance in fact, that last season Supreme has launched an actual arcade console in honor of the same game,

Pull & Bear Mortal Kombat is a capsule collection with a retro taste, which includes outerwear with allover prints and a selection of hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts, joggers, bucket hats, socks, a necklace and sneakers, with the game’s most popular graphics and characters as well as the iconic phrase “Finish Him! “.
