The 2016 edition of Baselworld, the world’s largest watch exhibition, showcases the usual wide range of limited editions, aimed at thrilling die-hard collectors and attracting new interest.

One worth a closer look comes from Raymond Weil. The Swiss luxury watchmaker presented a limited edition Beatles “Maestro” timepiece. Music has always been at the center of Raymond Weil’s universe, and this new instalment in its Music Icons series marks the Brand’s 40th anniversary by celebrating the greatest band of all time.

A timepiece full of bespoke details, the Maestro Beatles Limited Edition features The Beatles’ 13 album titles written all around the dial, from Please Please Me up to Let It Be, with a special fab four “Help” silhouette at 4 o’clock. The galvanised silver dial matches the polished steel bracelet. It features the official Beatles logo and a date window at 3 o’clock. Finally, the case back presents a smoked sapphire crystal embellished with the Beatles logo and an engraved limited edition number.

Limited to 3,000 pieces, and presented in a special commemorative case, Raymond Weil’s Maestro The Beatles Limited Edition will retail at $1,395.
