Borsalino is getting ready for this summer thanks to a special collaboration with Vilebrequin, a French brand specialized in luxury swimsuits. The dialogue between the two realities arises from the desire to capture the casual and carefree spirit of the summer season, with the addiction of a playful representation of Mediterranean culture.

The symbol, and soon pattern, chosen for this partnership is the sea turtle: unique logo of the maison tropézienne, which is engraved by fire on the surface of the historic Panama Borsalino ( best selling item of the Italian company) thus creating a surprising sun-kissed effect to celebrate the love for the sea. The Panama model is proposed in the medium and wide tesa versions for him and her, also enriched by a dedicated Borsalino x Vilebrequin ribbon.

Roland Herlory, CEO of Vilebrequin, says: “Borsalino has an incredible historical heritage and an artisanal culture that have been handed down for almost two centuries. Visiting the Alexandria factory, I was struck by the attention devoted to details: each of the turtles engraved on the hats of the collection was handmade. A collaboration also symbol of the relaunch of Borsalino, which after the acquisition by the Haeres Equita fund, aims to definitively reaffirm itself as an icon of Italian style, contemporary and revisited, able to move into the future without forgetting the importance of a history born 160 years ago.
