Presented during the last White Milano edition the Brigitte Bardot Clothing Collection, inspired by one of the most iconic women of the 50s.

After the partnership with Lancel for a fashion bags capsule collection, Brigitte Bardot has recently signed a licensing agreement with Ternay for an apparel collection, allowing for the first time, the use of her name and likeness for a fashion label.

The Director of the collection Sarah Ohana, also founder of the brand Sarah Wayne, has a brilliant approach to licensing. Not only the usual t-shirts with B.B. most famous pictures, but a complete rage of 200 styles inspired by the iconography and the world of the actress: gingham dresses, retro-chic swimwear, crochet dresses, shorts and much more. The aim of the collection is in fact to revive Brigitte Bardot icon from 50s to 80s. For that project, Sarah drew its inspiration from old pictures of the celebrity used as well for the hang-tags.

Brigitte Bardot Clothing Collection has signed also a collaboration with Maje for a capsule collection of five T-shirts in limited edition, available from next April.

And a new licensing agreement for a bijoux collection signed by B.B. in collaboration with Groupe GL. – already licensee of Lacoste, Kenzo and Nina Ricci – that will be presented next September 2012.

No more brand slapping but a more wise approach to licensing opportunities!
