Branching out is a form of business that artist are profitably embracing since some seasons. This latest venture by Bruno Mars seems quite interesting – the creation and launch of his own lifestyle brand in collaboration with Lacoste.
The collaboration began in Los Angeles, where Bruno Mars and Luise Trotter, Lacoste creative director, met. It is born out of complete freedom, spontaneity and creativity, where the imagination of the American artist and his passion for flamboyant rhythm led to “Ricky Regal” the signature used by Bruno Mars for his designer alter ego.
Lacoste x Ricky Regal, is a deep collection, bold and strong coloured, ranging from mustard yellow to petroleum blue, from purple to coral red to tie-dye. Articulated around fluid shirts and pop tracksuits, the line inlcudes shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, pants, slides and socks, as well as one iconic pair of aviator sunglasses.

The collection lunches on March 5 in a global network of exclusive retailers and is available at selected Lacoste boutiques and at lacoste.com from 8 March.
