Carrefour & Cosmopolitan

A direct-to -retail licensing deal has been signed between the distribution giant Carrefour and Hearst Corporation’s brand Cosmopolitan.  Hair dryers, hair straighteners and brushes are proposed in gift pack, featured by the magazine iconography, and inspired by the  Cosmopolitan attitude: “fun, fearless, female”.

Cosmopolitan is the lifestylist for millions of women who want to be the best they can be in every area of their lives. This is the foundation on which The Licensing Company has built the brand’s licensing program in Europe, covering a number of categories from shoes to bags, from watches to hosiery and beauty accessories. This deal allows Carrefour to direct develop and market two different ranges of Cosmopolitan hair accessories in Europe and overseas. France is the first market, with the products on shelf starting December 2012, other European market and overseas territories will follow shortly.
