Converse loves NASA space travels

The space theme and its global ambassador NASA continues to fascinate the streetwear an sneakers industry. After the boom of NASA limited edition like Nike, Puma, Anta and Vans, to name a few, Converse Japan is now joining the pack.

The NASA x Converse Japan collection includes the reinterpretation of 2 iconic Converse models, the All Star HI and the Star & Bar, for a total of 3 models, all inspired by the classic NASA colors.

Both manufactured in a Tyvek-like material, Converse All Star Hi are proposed in two different styles, the first features black laces and a light blue sole, while in the second a classic white sole is enhanced by orange laces. Both models sports Converse logo framed by a compass in one side, and the NASA logo on the other side.

The Star & Bar model feature a white upper with black laces and silver details, with a cream sole with a black rubber part on the front of the sneaker. This model is embellished by the NASA “worm” logo, used from 1975 to 1992 which is placed on the heel.

The launch is scheduled for this March in the Asian market.
