Another odd couple: the global denim brand, ambassador of the “successful living” lifestyle, and the Italian leader of furnished kitchens, with an export network in more than 50 countries worldwide, married to collaborate on a new perspective in kitchens’ design.

Just like Bulgari with All Blacks (see news posted on November 11), at a first glance this marriage could sound more than weird.

But there is more to a claim than meets the eye in this “Succesfull Living Kitchen”, which will be showcased at EuroCucina – Saloni Milan next April.  The project is born to satisfy the needs of younger customers worldwide, which consider  the kitchen their social place at home.

The top class technical capabilities of Scavolini, of styling, functionality, safety and durability, have been re-decoded  with the special Diesel touch, halfway between industrial and retro style. Natural  and industrial materials have been privileged, like wood, steel, glass, and concrete also, all processed with special treatments to deliver a unique vintage look.

The system is obviously modular, an can be bought in single systems  also, and comes with a series of freestanding accessories for a total look.  To see and touch the real thing: EuroCucina section at Saloni 2012, 17 to 22 April in Milan.
