FC Internazionale, the black-and-blue-striped professional soccer team, has just disclosed an upcoming collaboration with fashion brand Palm Angels.

Palm Angels is a highly growing brand created in 2015 by Moncler’s creative director Francesco Ragazzi. An assortment of upscale, skate-inspired apparel and accessories, as goes the self-described Palm Angels DNA; a mix between Ragazzi Italian sartorial background and the laid-back vibes he admires so much in skaters around L.A.

Mixing football team with streetwear and skate subcultures is one of the growing trends, as spotted since some quarters in our Halo Licensing Survey, having the previous adidas, Palace and Juventus collab as its pinnacle. What’s more in this case is that Francesco Ragazzi is a hot Inter supporter.

All is left to know so far comes from a couple of twits and IG stories, one of which directly from Steven Zhang’s profile, chairman of FC Inter. Palm Angels echoed from its side, sharing an IG story featuring a logoed black jersey with the number 69 in yellow.

We have nothing to do but wait and stay tuned to know when and how this collab will be launched: the drop culture has its way.
