The famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and Frisk, the famous mint brand, make a new point in collaborations merging mass market products with art in limited edition.

The precursor of neo-pop and “superflat” has unveiled at Galerie Perrotin in Paris last thursday three limited editions expressely created for Frisk: three metal boxes featuring different Murakami’s colourful designs. The collaboration is not limited to packaging alone, as the mints are also shaped after three artist’s icons: an eye, a flower, and a skull.

Three flavors are available: cherry, mint and exotic fruits, and will be ditributed only at Colette and Monoprix, where each box will be retailed ad 2,95 euro.
