Bratz are the fashion dolls created by toy designer Carter Bryant and produced by MGA Entertainment that, when launched in 2001, caused a sensation for their provocative looking and exaggerated make-up.

Bratz bold coté and their 20th anniversary has been intercepted by Italian streetwear brand GCDS for a special launch which unites GCDS streetwear items and actual Bratz dolls in CGDS outfits.

Giuliano Calza, creative director of GCDS has chosen to focus on two of the four dolls -Yasmin and Sasha – due to the physical closeness to the Italian physiognomy of the first, and the sense of fashion characterized by the latter.

Sasha in the GCDS version wears a mini crystal dress layered on a black catsuit and a faux fur coat printed with the GCDS logo, over-the-knee boots, gold earrings and a heart-shaped bag. Yasmin sports a minidress with a Bratz-themed allover print, cinched at the waist with a sparkling logo belt. Heeled clogs and a lilac tote bag complete her look.

The GCDS unisex ready-to-wear collection includes clothing and accessories featuring a “Passion for fashion” print, and Bratz all-over styles.

This collection has been showcased in a new GCDS pop-up store in Milan. The ultra-pop store houses two life-size Bratz statues adorned in GCDS, created by artist Colin Christian, and vending machines where customers can purchase GCDS X Bratz items and other exclusive merchandise.
