Lacoste is working hard to rebrand itself and make space in modern youth culture, and he distinctive crocodile logo brand’s collaborations have been nothing less than impressive, of late. The brand’s latest partnership has been with Thrasher, the world renown skateboarding magazine.

The design is a vision of both San Francisco and Paris, and the two brands succeded in blending their bold symbols in a genuine light.

Lacoste x Thrasher has been launched online and in select stores on September 28, and comprises the quintessential Lacoste polo shirt in terry cloth, as well as a collection of hoodies, t-shirts, tracksuits and pair of socks. The whole collection is dazzled with a flaming crocodile, which is the official logo of the collaboration.

The iconic skateboarding magazine contributes with San Francisco’s iconic and distinctive locations imagery, including the Golden Gate Bridge looming across the background throughout.

The merging of these two brands seems as crazy and outlandish, but compromising with a very classic French finish, another giant step in Lacoste’s suprising branding strategy.
