Zara has just launched a collaborative series of Clarks shoes for women, men and kids, where the classic models Wallabee and Desert Boot are reinvented in dedicated designs.

This reedition is based on two legendary boots which in the years have shaped the very soul of the UK brand. Desert Boot, born in 1950, and Wallabee, a 1967 classic, are reimagined by the Spanish retailer with a twist on the soles and a bright purple colour for the women’s style, while staying true to the iconic design.

Clarks has bought in 2021 by Hong Kong based investment firm Lion Rock Capital, and the latest efforts to reposition the brand and focus on the key markets seem to payback, with a turnover of 920 mio. Pounds, almost reaching the pre-covid results.

Clarks is a power user of inbound collaborations, with partners ranging from V&A Museum to Supreme; this Zara x Clarks launch has not been featured on the brand’s social media.
