Oakley returns, on the Tour de France’s occasion, with a new limited edition dedicated to the most prestigious and famous cycling race in the world, this time paying tribute to the geometric motif of the winner’s trophy. The best-selling models selected for the collection, including Kato, Jawbreaker, Sutro Lite and Holbrook, recall the elegant design and coloring of the bowl, making these accessories the perfect choice for true champions.

It is not the first time that Oakley collaborates or releases a collection for the event: for years the US brand (property of the Italian Luxottica) is the official sponsor of the tour and just last year he wanted to celebrate this partnership with a drop dedicated to the French flag’s colors.

This year it’s the yellow color that stands out, used for the logo on the sunglasses, in some details or for the lenses; so as to underline – without exceeding – the gold of the bowl but also to refer to the coveted “yellow jersey”. The oldest and most coveted jersey of the race, also called maillot jaune, worn only by the leader of the general classification.

Thanks to this partnership, Oakley is once again the leader, not of the race, but of an eyewear segment market, dedicated to professional cyclists.
