OpSec Security, the global leader in protecting, authenticating, and enhancing brands, services and revenues, will provide authentication solutions to Britain’s most famous football club.

OpSec’s brand authentication solutions are being used by Manchester United Football Club to ensure the clubs replica kit and merchandise can be effectively and accurately authenticated by stakeholders including customs officials, retailers and fans.
The solution involves all official merchandise having a highly secure OVD (Optically Variable Device) label attached, providing multiple overt and covert optical security features.
Each security label also contains a unique ‘InSight’ serial number which enables traceability back to certified Manchester United licensees and can be further utilised by fans to register and authenticate their merchandise online.
