Last Monday during Pitti Bimbo 84 press conference we had the chance to learn what’s new about projects and collaborations that will be presented during of the next January event.

Among the most interesting projects, Monnalisa will pesent Monnalisa Living by Savio Firmino, a special collection of furnishings made in co-branding with the famous Florentine company.
Elisabetta Franchi, Stefano Ricci and Manuel Ritz instead will debut with their first kidswear collection.

The new chapter of Fashion Comics, Alessandro Enriquez’s brainchild project realized in collaboration with Pitti Bimbo, will have as protagonist the Pink Panther. The brands involved will create a look inspired by the famous character, which will become the subject of a capsule and a special edition mini outfits. Part of the proceeds of the sales will be donated to an Oxfam project.

The Kartell Kids collection will be protagonist with a special installation: a special project in collaboration with Chiara Maci, the famous Italian food blogger, who will realize six recipes studied exclusively for the brand, each matching a product of the kids collection.

Pitti Bimbo will also launch two new exhibition projects: The Nest and Fancy Room, the first devoted to the research for a small creative brands. Especially interesting the Portuguese Cherrypapaya Kids brand and its collection inspired by African art and Modigliani, Picasso and Brancusi works. The second is a curious selection of design objects and accessories. An island-space, colourful and entertaining, with furnishing elements, games, pocket technology, useful and futile, curious and irresistible objects, enlisted to make their debut in concept stores all over the world.

Fancy Room will also host Fun Glasses, the space created in collaboration with MIDO dedicated to the  kids’ eyewear world.
