Among the most interesting news of the next Pitti Uomo summer edition, the launch of the first capsule collection inspired by a guide theme of Pitti Immagine is for sure one of the most experimental. From 13 to 19 June, on the first floor of the Italian department store La Rinascente in Milan, named “Best Department Store in the World 2016” by the Intercontinental Group of Department Stores (IGDS), there will be a corner of Pitti Uomo with a special pop up store dedicated to the limited edition “Boom, Pitti Blooms”, inspired by the stylistic theme created by the lifestyler Sergio Colantuoni. The capsule collection will be also showcased in one of the store’s winows on Piazza Duomo.

The temporary shop proposes a limited edition capsule collection consisting of 8 unisex basic accessories and pieces cured by the lifestyler with a completely different image. The capsule includes: Invicta backpack, Superga sneaker, Virtus T-Shirt and cap, White Sand trousers, Franco Ferrari Scarf, ecopelle bag made by Api SpA and Fiscatech and Timex Archive watch.
The mini collection, which will debut at Pitti Uomo in a series of colored kiosk, will only be available at La Rinascente in Milan. A selection of these items, with the addition of a special edition notebook by Moleskine, will be reserved for a small number of top buyers and international journalists participating the show.

The creative partnership between Pitti Immagine and MINI continues with “Pitti Immagine Loves MINI. MINI moves Pitti Immagine”. During this edition of Pitti Uomo MINI will present the new BEYOND NATIVE Capsule Collection, a limited edition created in collaboration with five emerging international designers: Diego Vanassibara, Edwina Hörl, Pronounce, Post-Imperial, Perret Schaad.

An other interesting news of the next Pitti Uomo is for sure the presence of Christian Louboutin. The French designer and world’s most iconic luxury shoe maker, has decided, for the first time ever, to take part at the show in Florence to unveil a special project combining sport and style.

Worth of mention, the return to K-Way. Along with the iconic, waterproof and packable jackets, K-Way will introduce a surprisingly innovative collection of striking outwear for the SS 2018.

For the first time in 50 years of history, Hunting World, the exclusive Japanese brand of accessories, will launch an absolute preview at Pitti Uomo, a complete collection of ready-to-wear, combining outdoor style and urban sophistication. The collection, entirely made in Italy, will be presented during an event in a striking setting at Stazione Leopolda. Always speaking about Japan, thanks to the two-year partnership between Pitti Immagine and Japan Fashion Week Organization, Yoshio Kubo, one of the mdst promising talent of the rising sun, will present his unique style in an unmissable fashion show.

Special Guests of Pitti Uomo 92 will be Off-White by Virgil Abloh ™ and JW Anderson, Australia will be instead the Guest Nation of this edition. The most promising names of the Australian fashion scene will be the protagonists of the project promoted by Fondazione Pitti Immagine Discovery and The Woolmark Company. Eight young Australian designers selected in partnership with the Australian Fashion Chamber will present their collections at the Fortezza.
