Levi’s collaborates with Studio Ghibli, one of the most famous Japanese animation studios, to create a new collection that combines craftsmanship with love for anime aesthetics.

This collection focuses on the successful Japanese fantasy film of 1997, Princess Mononoke. A film conceived by artist Hayao Miyazaki that deals with environmental issues and the difficult relationship between man and nature.

Levi’s x Princess Mononoke features three main pieces: the San & Wolf Trucker jacket, the Ashitaka 501 ’93 jeans, and the San & Moro 501 shorts. Each of them is enriched with details and all-over prints that reflect the hand-painted backgrounds and characters of the film. Just as the world of Princess Mononoke is depicted, the collection is also characterized by plays of light and shadows thanks to the choice of indigo tone of denim.

In addition, accessories are also available: the classic Levi’s bandana,, along with two purses: one featuring the red mask of the Princess and the other the face of the small spirit creature, Kodama.

Levi’s x Princess Mononoke collection is available from August 10th on Levi’s website and in selected Levi’s stores, while for Levi’s Red Tab members it will be available from August 8th.
