Herschel Supply Co. conquers China through Starbucks

Heschel Supply Co., the Canadian based accessories and lifestyle company has teamed up with Starbucks for a limited-edition collection of carryalls and coffee mugs, available exclusively at the international coffee houses’ shops in China.

“The collection is called Journey to the Origin.” Says co-founder Lyndon Cormack in an interview to Vancouver Sun. “Sumatra is the origin of Starbucks’ flagship coffee blends. We took inspiration from the lush Indonesian jungle and created a set of versatile carryalls, reusable mugs, and refillable Starbucks Cards that reflects the diverse flora and fauna of the Sumatran wild.”

Not a first time to Starbucks to be collaborating with a lifestyle brand: Moleskine in South Korea, RetroSuperFuture sunglasses at Milan Starbucks’ Roastery, or Skinny Dip London are some of the cases the coffee shop retailer has proposed to its fans recently.

Herschel Supply, on the verge of its 10th anniversary, is in fact striving towards a global recognition of its brand, using collaborations and partnerships to hack into consumers attention.
