Pokèmon gives Longchamp an anime thrill

Collaborations between manga, anime or videogame franchises and luxury brands are not uncommon, as our readers know and all our Halo Licensing Survey subscribers in can track quarterly.

But seeing one of the pillars of French luxury like Longchamp launching a special collection with Pokémon still comes as a surprise.

The collection has been lauched in occasion of the Paris Fashion Week, and include some eye-catching designs featuring Pikachu among the LGP letters forming the brand’s signature logo on the Le Pliage fabric assortment, while a more sober leather version on Le Pliage Cuir shows a single Pikachu pose on a solid coloured bag in 3 colourways. Included in the range are also keychains and iPhone covers.

The Pokèmon Company from its side has added a free avatar of a Longhamp backpack available on the Pokémon Go platform.

The items are available in the Longchamp stores and in selected department stores all over the world from 24th October
