Reebok with Spotify for an immersive experience

Reebok has just launched a limited edition in collaboration with Spotify, integrating sneaker brands’ urge to stay relevant through frequent and diverse partnerships with the tech appeal on millennials of a streaming platform.

The limited-edition Reebok Zig Kinetica Ultrasounds Collection is a series of three sneakers, dedicated respectively to the cities of New York, Atlanta and Houston, each printed with a Spotify code.

Scanning the code with a smartphone the customer can access to a special city-specific playlist, inspired to the distinctive vibes of the three cities.

Each sneaker designs reflect the same concept: New York Minute, Atlanta Lemon Pepper and Houston Candy Paint mix uppers and the soles with different colours and styles.

According to Matt Hagerty of Reebok, these shoes “are designed to celebrate the beautiful city subcultures creating an immersive experience”.
