Skechers is gaining momentum in the global lifestyle and performance footwear market, not nly thanks to a consolidated category expansion into apparel and accessories, catering to a wide target including men, women and children, but also adding a licensing collaboration plan to its marketing recipe.
A new Skechers x Dr. Seuss collection has been just announced by the US company, a range of footwear inspired to the most known Dr. Seuss’ character – The Cat in the Hat.
Skechers x Dr. Seuss is a multi-year worldwide footwear licensing partnership that will bring Dr. Seuss’s world to life in designs for both adults and children.
Skechers x Dr. Seuss first collection will launch with popular styles singled out from Skechers Street, BOBS from Skechers and Skechers Kids models, featuring the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2.
But future collections are already planned, with characters and designs from other Dr. Seuss’s beloved tales, like Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
The Skechers x Dr. Seuss collection for adults and children is now available at Skechers.com and will be available in all Skechers retail stores starting September in the United States, Canada and Europe, expanding to exclusive markets worldwide.
