Timex x Noah: the fastest selling watch

As our readers know, collaborations selling out quickly are something we are very fond of. A couple of years ago, we wrote about Omega, whose Ultraman limited edition sold out in pre-order in precisely 1 hour, 53 minutes, and 17 seconds on the watches collectors platform Fratello Watches.

Timex x Noah limited edition has just sets a new record in the watches market: launched on Noah’s e-store on Thanksgiving at 11:00 am, at 11:05 was already sold-out.

What’s great about this collab?

Noah, a New York based clothing brand with stores in Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Osaka, manufacters apparel items using ethically sourced materials, but the objective of this collaboration was not just to look cool.

In both partbers’ view, the aim was to raise funds and awareness for the cause of the discarded fishing nets in the Oceans, which trap aquatic life and drown them.

That’s why the Timex x Noah features not only a blue recycled nylon strap, but also a turtle drawn in the center of the dial which brandishes a knife, speaking up the straightwforwarded message carved on the back: GHOST NETS SUCK!

This is the story of the fastest turtle, at least in the watches world.
